The river Arrow is a small river that runs through the Warwickshire countryside, until joining the river Avon at Salford priors. Most days the river runs crystal clear. Chub and Barble can be spotted along stretches of river. So far this year chub to 6lbs 4oz, Barble to 12lb, Bream to 6lbs and Roach to 2lbs 8oz have been caught. The river also holds a good head of Carp, which run well into double figures, But are rarely landed to to the nature of the river.
All aspects of river fishing can be covered on these red letter days, including swim feeder, ledger and free lining. Float fishing with stick floats and wagglers. The river can also be tackled fishing with a long pole (this method is not for the weak hearted).
